Personal Experience

Casey Leier champions the rights of employees, fighting to ensure that all employees are treated with respect, dignity, and in compliance with the law. He brings to Leventhal Swan Taylor Temming PC, an AV Preeminent®-rated civil litigation firm (Martindale-Hubbell’s highest possible rating for professional ability and ethical standards), a specialized knowledge of administrative law and of public sector employees’ various protections. Previously partnering with well-known litigator William Finger until his retirement, Casey gained experience bringing countless cases to positive resolution before the State Personnel Board and other courts. He continues that legacy at Leventhal Swan Taylor Temming PC.

Casey brings a unique perspective to his practice of employment law because he began his legal career working for the Colorado Civil Rights Division, an agency which investigates workplace complaints. There, Casey gathered the facts of, and made legal determinations regarding, hundreds of cases. He has twice been named one of Colorado’s “Rising Stars” by Colorado Super Lawyers, a distinction earned by less than 2.5% of attorneys. He has Avvo’s “Client’s Choice” award for his 5 out of 5-star rating from clients. He attributes his success to hard work, careful analysis of cases, and communication with his clients.

Casey earned his Juris Doctorate at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Prior to law school, Casey obtained a Master of Arts in International Security from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver and an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his two dogs and traveling to places he hasn’t seen before.
